MilPride is a Modern Military group of parents just like you! We were created by and for  LGBTQ+ military families with LGBTQ+ kids.

We center peer support, practical resources, and advocacy, offering a space where families don’t have to explain themselves, don't have to feel unheard, and don’t have to go it alone.

Who are we?

MilPride began as a grassroots effort by military parents and caregivers seeking connection, safety, and shared understanding. What started as a small peer network has grown into a national community grounded in lived experience, advocacy, and care.

Every military family’s needs are different. Our MilPride families are often supporting LGBTQ+ youth while navigating privacy, safety, and complex military systems. For many, this is done quietly, behind the scenes, with little to no support. MilPride is a welcoming, confidential space where families can take the next step at their own pace. These trusted resources offer connection and support for wherever your family is right now.
