Modern Military is proud to support PRIDE & HONOR, a powerful upcoming documentary following terminally ill veteran Stephan “Lilly” Steffanides in their final fight to restore dignity and recognition to LGBTQI+ veterans. As part of this project, Lilly is creating a Legacy Video Series, a living archive of LGBTQI+ military stories that may be preserved in the GLBT Historical Society Archives in San Francisco.

We’re helping filmmaker Mai Iskander find LGBTQI+ service members and veterans in San Francisco, DC, and New York willing to share their stories.

Participants have full editorial control and will be able to review their segment before it’s included in the film.
