Strut to the Polls in Confidence

MMAA is pleased to partner with Drag Out The Vote™, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that works with drag performers to promote participation in democracy. Drag Out the Vote™ educates and registers voters at drag events online and offline, by organizing local and national voter activations.

As MMAA continues to advocate for the DoD’s reversal of the drag ban, we are proud to highlight the positive impact that drag queens and drag kings have across the nation as they advocate for increased voter access and engagement.

Join MMAA and Drag Out The Vote™ as we use drag to engage voters to sashay their way to the polls.

If you live overseas or are a military voter visit the Federal Voting Assistance Program, Overseas Vote Foundation, or Secure Families Initiative Military Voting Q&A.

“I pledge to check my voter registration, to educate myself about the candidates and any ballot initiatives that may be on my ballot, and to sashay to the polls – whether it’s to mail in my ballot, request an absentee, vote early, or vote on election day. Most of all, I pledge to drag out the vote by texting three friends or family members and checking to see if they are registered and have a plan to vote!”
