In this time of uncertainty, there’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope — together, we can do extraordinary things.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve seen so many of you coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Whether that’s through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries, your generosity has been helping us all get through this global pandemic — together.
In that spirit, today, we are participating in #GivingTuesdayNow — a global day of giving and unity as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
You can participate in a variety of ways — whether it’s helping a neighbor or giving to causes, every act of generosity counts. Show your generosity today by:
-
- Help a friend or neighbor who may be struggling.
- Give to MMAA and fuel our mission. Even the smallest amount helps.
- Spread the word to your friends and family and ask them to do the same.
We encourage you to show your generosity by helping a friend or neighbor who is struggling through this crisis, especially someone who may have lost their job or is struggling to make ends meet.
Once you’ve helped that friend or neighbor in need, if you have some “giving power” left, please consider helping MMAA.
The pandemic has taken its toll on those who we usually rely on to fuel our mission. With your help, we’ll be able to continue our work advancing fairness and equality for the LGBTQ military and veteran community.
Not only do we need your financial support, we also need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our mission and encourage them to show their generosity as well.
