We’re thrilled to announce that applications for the 2021 MMAA Military Spouse Donna Johnson Memorial Scholarship funded by Parsons are now open.
The 2021 MMAA Military Spouse Donna Johnson Memorial Scholarship proudly funded by Parsons, honors the life and legacy of one of Parsons’ former employees — Army National Guard Staff Sergeant Donna Johnson — who was killed in action by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. Donna’s widow, Tracy Johnson, also worked for Parsons.
MMAA is committed to education, advocacy, and support for our modern military spouses and their families, and our scholarship is a key tool in our mission to support those who are often overlooked and under appreciated.
You are eligible to apply for the MMAA Military Spouse Scholarship if you:
- are a member of the Modern Military Association of America (it is free to join!)
- are a military spouse with a valid military ID
- are married to an active duty, reserve, guard, retired, medically retired, or fallen service member of the U.S. Armed Forces
- are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program from an accredited, public university pursuing a STEM degree, or certification such as PMP, security certifications, business certifications of Agile, or Six Sigma.
Applications for 2021 are now opened until March 1st, 2021.
